These are the key issues we're working on to create a stronger, more unified Old Mission Peninsula.
Where we're focused:
Amend Zoning/Regulation:
Repeal and replace Amendment 201.
Free farmers to be successful, allowing them to choose between growing crops/fruit or developing property.
Shoreline Ordinance:
Pass a functional Shoreline Use Ordinance that is equitable for all shoreline owners.
Property Rights:
End the general over-regulation of individual property rights.
Financial Transparency:
Provide a more user-friendly explanation of the Township’s finances, offering a clear picture of the current financial condition.
Community Vision:
Work to bring unity back to the community.
Preserve the landscape and heritage for future generations by freeing farmers to prosper.
